Explaining the differences

The Odoo ERP began its ascent under the nam of TinyERP then OpenERP. The founder, Fabien Pinckaers now wishes to develop a free software accessible by all. His ambition is to create a tool for companies with functionalities such as CRM, Sales, Invoicing and even Human-Ressources.

The tool is built around separately implemented modules. Each of them can be implemented as the business is growing

Each version is subject to change according to the bussiness's needs. Several possibilities are available to you: either request the intervention of a developer (for Community or Enterprise) or you opt for Odoo Studio (only available with Odoo Enterprise). The latter allows you to make changes simply without the intervention of a developer. An integrator can also assist you in the project monitoring process.

Wether for the community version or for the enterprise version, Odoo has a strong community present on the Odoo App

Additional modules are made available in order to expand the possibe functionalities of the ERP

The price of the module is set by the creator, it cas either be free or paid.

Cost of an Odoo ERP

The cost of the license is 150€ a month, per users, on average. 

With Odoo 2 options are available to you:

     - Odoo Community : Free ERP, you only pay for hosting, the intervention of a developer or an integrator is necessary

     - Odoo Enterprise : Licensed ERP, you pay the cost of your license per month, per users as well as the price of installe modules. You also have the option of requesting the services of an integrator. The price of the Odoo Enterprise license is 18€ a month, per user on average.

Finally a company with simpler operation: CRM, Sales, Accounting, the cost of Odoo ERP would amount 1.500 a year excluding support by an integrator

A much cheaper price than other proprietary softwares.
